2016: Made 22 appearances with a pair of starts coming two outs shy of tying a career high with 5.1 innings pitched against Old Dominion on May 7th tossing a three-hit shutout in relief … earned his only win of the season getting the final two outs in the top of the ninth against Wake Forest on March 16th before the Niners walked-off in the bottom half … 12 of his 22 appearances saw the right-hander surrender no more than one earned run … threw a total of 31.1 innings with 26 strikeouts … named to Conference USA’s Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2015: Tied for second-most appearances, mostly out of the bullpen, with 23 and made one cameo as a pinch-hitter … soaked up a team-high 48 innings out of the ‘pen with a save and 3.75 ERA … made lone start on March 17th against UMES tossing the first three innings allowing two runs on five hits with two strikeouts during the Niners 17-5 victory … set nearly all of his season-highs in a May 2nd relief appearance against #15 Dallas Baptist … tossed four innings against the nationally-ranked Patriots allowing three runs on six hits with three strikeouts … stretched out to go at-least two innings in 14 of his 23 appearances ... held opponents scoreless in 10 appearances, 12 without allowing an earned run … 20 earned runs allowed on the season was second-fewest out of the relief core … in his second career at-bat, struck out in a pinch-hitting role on April 17th vs. Middle Tennessee … named to Conference USA’s Commissioner’s Honor Roll … Athletic Director’s List (fall), Dean’s List (spring).
2014: Made eight appearances in his rookie season with four starts ... registered first collegiate victory on March 26th against UNC Asheville tossing a career-high six innings of three-hit, shutout ball with a personal-best seven strikeouts on 102 pitches ... notched 17 strikeouts over his 27 innings of work as a freshman ... named to Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll ... Prep – Played for coaches Jamie Mabe and Gary Nail for the Reagan Raiders, which advanced to the third round of the state playoffs in his senior season … Earned three letters for the Raiders, playing as the number-one starter and shortstop for his last two seasons … Combined for a 14-4 record with 153 strikeouts in 111 innings in his final two combined seasons … Was the winning pitcher with two complete-game victories in the opening rounds of the state playoffs … Earned All-Central Piedmont Conference his last two seasons … Played in the State Games after his junior year, taking the Region Five team to the silver medal as the starting shortstop … Honors Student, National Honor Society Nominee, Crosby Scholar Participant, National Society of HS Scholars.
