UTSA announces partnership with adidas

SAN ANTONIO — UTSA and adidas have entered into a three-year partnership in which the company will be the school’s official athletic apparel, footwear, accessories and equipment products supplier through the 2015-16 season.

adidas will supply the Roadrunners’ 17 intercollegiate sports and the spirit programs with all apparel, footwear, accessories and equipment products for competition, practices, training, coaching, travel, recruiting and media engagements beginning in July.

“We are very excited about our new partnership with adidas,” UTSA Director of Athletics Lynn Hickey said. “They have supplied a few of our teams for the past couple of years, so to have them on board as the official supplier for our entire department is a positive move for UTSA. To be able to provide a consistent quality and look in our apparel and equipment is an integral part in building championship programs. I know all of our student-athletes, coaches and fans will be enthusiastic about this new partnership with adidas and its performance-level apparel and equipment.”
