RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- The NCCAA released its 2012 All-American teams Wednesday and CBU had three athletes honored, including NCCAA Pitcher of the Year Emma Holden.

Holden and third basemen Mara Rodriguez were named to the first team, while Tina Galinato earned second team honors.

Holden finished the season with a 26-4 record, winning three games at the NCCAA National Tournament to help lead the Lancers to an NCCAA title. Holden had a 1.57 ERA, compiling 302 strikeouts in 196.1 innings pitched. She was named NCCAA Pitcher of the Tournament at the championship and also was named PacWest Pitcher of the Year in leading the Lancers to a conference title. It is the second national Pitcher of the Year award for the senior who earned the NAIA's top honor last season.

Rodriguez batted a team-high .406 this season, also earning NCCAA All-Tournament honors at the national championship. The junior infielder tallied 14 home runs, 51 RBI, 46 runs scored and a .782 slugging percentage this season.

Galinato, the NCCAA Tournament MVP, was second to Rodriguez this year with a .405 batting average and led the team with 19 doubles. She was tied for the team lead with nine steals this season, and totaled seven home runs, 36 RBI, 43 runs scored and a .696 slugging percentage.

The Lancers were one of three teams with multiple players on the All-American first team. Kelsey Wilson of Cedarville was named NCCAA Player of the Year.
