LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Columbia men’s golf team took 11th place at the 19th annual UALR/First Tee Collegiate Classic on Tuesday after the Lions shot a 312 in the final round.

Columbia finished at 305-306-312—923 (+59). Southeastern Louisiana won the 16-team event at 23-over 887 after carding a final-round 304 on the par 72, 7,326-yard Bear Den Course at Chenal Country Club.

Sophomore Andrew Kim tied for 15th after carding a 76-73-76—225 (+9). Junior Michael Yiu tied for 29th with a 74-80-74—228 (+12).

First-year Brandon Jowers tied for 68th after shooting 80-75-83—238 (+22). Sophomore Jordan Lee finished 85th with a 77-78-94—249 (+33). Senior Brendan Doyle, who withdrew from Monday’s second round, shot a 7-over 79 in Tuesday’s final round.

The Lions return to the Northeast for their next event, the Princeton Invitational, which will be held April 14-15 at Springdale Golf Club in Princeton, N.J.
