UMKC volleyball heads to Chicago, Ill., on Oct. 9 to take on familiar foe Chicago State at 7 p.m. in WAC action.

UMKC volleyball (7-5) kicks off its WAC season when it welcomes in Seattle U (8-5) and Utah Valley (4-8) to Kansas City. The ‘Roos and the Redhawks are slated for a 7 p.m. first serve on Thursday, while the match with the Wolverines is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday.

(Kansas City, Mo.) – In a back-and-forth match that included three ‘Roos reaching double figures in kills and the team taking its first two sets ever from Missouri State, the UMKC volleyball team fell 3-2 to the Bears on Friday afternoon at the Horejsi Center in Lawrence, Kan., as part of the Jayhawk Classic.
(Kansas City, Mo.) – Madison Mosier finished with a career-high 11 kills, hitting .647, to lead the UMKC volleyball team (7-3) to a 3-0 win over former Summit League rival South Dakota State (1-12) on Thursday night at the Swinney Recreation Center in the opening match of the Jayhawk Classic.
UMKC volleyball returns to action in the Jayhawk Classic where they will take on South Dakota State, Missouri State and Gonzaga. The ‘Roos and their former Summit League rival Jacks will play at 7 p.m. at the SRC on Sep. 17, while the matches with the Bears (9/18 - 4 p.m.) and Bulldogs (9/19 - 10 a.m.) will be in Lawrence, Kan.
