Traffic Management
No one likes to sit in traffic. Extra police and gameday staff will be positioned after games to ease traffic problems. In addition, our postgame traffic management plan is coordinated with law enforcement from surrounding areas. Staff will direct cars to I-64 and the 250 Loop, which surrounds Charlottesville and provides the easiest access to all routes out of town. Police may send you in a direction you do not want to go, but please do not turn around in the median, instead, follow the signs and you will eventually get to your desired destination.
