2010 Football Tickets Go On Sale July 1st

Kalamazoo – With pre-season camp just a little over a month away and the kick-off times all set, the Bronco football team is ready for another exciting year at Waldo Stadium. With the team getting all geared up, Bronco Athletics hope the fans are too.  New season tickets for the 2010 football season will go on sale July 1st. Fans can purchase tickets for as low as $66. The 2010 home football schedule includes six games.

The Broncos will open their home season on Saturday, September 11th at 7:00pm against Nicholls State for their annual CommUnivCity game. They will play the following Saturday, September 18th against MAC West opponent Toledo. Kick-time is also slated for 7:00pm.  After an open date on September 25th, the team returns to Waldo for Homecoming versus 2009 Humanitarian Bowl Champion University of Idaho at 2:00pm.  The Broncos will conclude their home slate with three MAC schools in Northern Illinois (10/30), Eastern Michigan (11/13), and Kent State (11/20).

Fans who are interested in purchasing new season tickets can do so by ordering online, via phone at 1-888-4-WMU-TIX, or in person at the Bronco Ticket Office at Waldo Stadium.


ADDITIONAL FOOTBALL TICKET INFORMATION
A new ticket option for the 2010 season is The Bronco Plan. The Bronco Plan is a booklet that includes 10 ticket coupons good for ANY home athletic event during the 2010-11 sport season. Fans can use the ticket coupons in a variety of ways. Each booklet contains 8 “BLACK TICKET COUPONS” and 2 “GOLD TICKET COUPONS”. The “black ticket coupons” are good for any home athletic event except for Michigan State and Notre Dame hockey games and the University of Illinois basketball game.  The “gold ticket coupons” are good for the Michigan State and Notre Dame hockey games, University of Illinois basketball game, or any other home athletic event. The price of The Bronco Plan is $120.

Another new ticket option for the 2010 football season is geared to WMU Faculty and Staff. WMU athletics is offering a new season ticket price of $70 for WMU faculty and staff only. This special rate is good for any seat in Sections A through G. All WMU faculty and staff with a valid Bronco ID can purchase tickets by calling the Bronco Ticket Office or in person.

WMU athletics will keep the tiered pricing structure that was put into place for the 2010 season.  Fans who are unable to attend all six games can purchase a Pick 3 Plan, which allows fans to pick any 3 home games for $33.  WMU athletics will offer a youth Pick 3 Plan for children 8th grade and younger which includes 3 games for $30 and a FREE membership to our Team Bronco Kid’s Club.  Single game ticket prices range from $24 to $15.

Single game tickets will go on-sale July 12th with the annual “Beat the Clock” scheduled for July 9th.  On this day fans will be able to purchase a single game ticket for $12 for any home game.
