Monarch Baseball Participates in Army ROTC Drills

NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion University Baseball team took part in rigorous Army ROTC drills on Friday, Dec. 2 at the Powhatan Sports Complex as the squad focused on team building exercises.
Included in their workout was the last day of the Monarch Challenge, an obstalce course that included a 400-meter run, team tug-of-war, team snake push-ups, rifle training, log lifts, rope circuit, the bear crawl and running the high school field stairs at Powhatan.
Master Sargent Sullivan led the team in their exercises and also put the players through the new Army combat test.
