Cougars Host SAISA Women's Championship Regatta

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The No. 8-ranked College of Charleston women’s sailing team will host the SAISA Women’s Championship regatta on April 23-24 at the J. Stewart Walker Sailing Complex in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

The conference championship event will be sailed in FJs and across two divisions. CofC will compete against teams from Clemson, Eckerd College, Georgia Tech, Jacksonville, NC State, Miami (Fla.), UNCW and South Florida.

The Cougars will be represented by senior Beka Schiff (Tampa, Fla.), junior Chloe Dapp (Newport Beach, Calif.), freshman Annabel Carrington (White Stone, Va.), sophomore Elizabeth Pemberton (Osterville, Mass.), senior Emily Stuart (Newport, R.I.), freshman Caroline Bracken, sophomore Clare Dahl (Newport Beach, Calif.) and junior Bayley Davidson (Newport Beach, Calif.).

Last year, the CofC women won the SAISA title beating out the seven other teams in the field and advancing to nationals.
