RICHMOND, VA. – The College of Charleston track and field team received conference-wide recognition for the first time this season, as the Colonial Athletic Association announced that RoShani Glover has been named the CAA Field Athlete of the Week.

RoShani Glover made school history for the third time this season Saturday at the Lowcountry Collegiate Invitational, toppling the CofC outdoor triple jump record with a distance of 12.32m. The previous mark of 12.21m by Jelain McArthur had stood for six years. Glover's jump handily won the event, and she would go on to claim second in the long jump with a personal best distance of 5.67m.

The senior currently leads the CAA in the TJ with a 43cm lead on second place while also ranking sixth in the long jump. Previously this year, Glover also broke the indoor long jump record at the Bob Pollock Invitational with a jump of 5.59m, and also the indoor triple jump record with a distance of 12.32m at the ECAC Championships.

The Cougars will return to action on April 30th at the Mountaineer Outdoor Open, hosted by Appalachian State.
