Cougars Recruiting Class One of Nationís Best

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The 2016 College of Charleston volleyball recruiting class was recognized as one of the best in the nation last week by PrepVolleyball.com.

The College welcomes four players from the high school ranks to join early enrollee, Katja Ehlers (Raleigh, N.C.). Peyton Eisnaugle (Dallas, Texas), Lauren Freed (Troy, Ohio), Maddie LeGrande (Campaign, Ill.) and Meghan Murphy (Villa Park, Calif.) will all join the program over the summer. The class was tabbed as Highest Honorable Mention in PrepVolleyball.com’s annual recruiting class rankings.

The Cougars are coming off a 20-13 campaign, in which the team reached the Colonial Athletic Association tournament title game for the third consecutive season.
