CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Five Cougars were among a total of 828 women’s collegiate golfers recognized as Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars on Tuesday.

College of Charleston graduating seniors Louise Olsson (Uddeholm, Sweden), Morgan Webber (Moore, S.C.) and Stacey Tomlinson (Greeleyville, S.C.) as well as juniors Laura Fuenfstueck (Langen, Germany) and Vici Drechsler (Munich, Germany) were honored.

Olsson graduated cum laude in May with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, Webber magna cum laude in exercise science and Tomlinson cum laude in public health.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics with a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50.
