WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (Sept. 1, 2015)—William & Mary student-athletes will benefit from an enhanced experience during their workouts in the department’s speed, strength and conditioning facility this year, as head coach John Sauer has announced the addition of a nutrition station.

The new nutrition station, which includes three full-size refrigerated coolers, will be fully stocked with Gatorade products (pre-workout) and Rockin' Refuel (post-workout) to aid Tribe student-athletes’ training and recovery.

The addition will enhance the training facility, which has undergone tremendous upgrades in recent years. In addition to a training area that encompasses approximately 8,500-square feet (Montgomery Strength Training Center and John Sauer Strength and Conditioning Room), the facility contains 16,000 pounds of free weights, more than 10,00 pounds of dumbbells and 7,500 pounds of rubber bumper plates. In addition, it has 22 multipurpose stations and 22 dumbell stations and a fully-equipped plyometric area. Additionally, six 70-inch flat screen televisions were recently installed, which allows the strength and conditioning staff to utilize video to correct technique as well as to display each sport’s training program.
