William & Mary sophomore Regan Rome (Dallas, Pa.) was named the Colonial Athletic Association Runner of the Week on Tuesday, after picking up her second win of the season at Princeton this weekend.  This is the first award of the season for Rome, and the first of her career.

Rome ran 20:39.5 to win the 6K race on Saturday morning, finishing a step ahead of teammate Emily Stites (Wyoming, Ohio) for the second race in a row this season.  That was the fastest she's ever run a 6K, and more than 30 seconds faster than she was at this time last fall.  Rome also won the W&M Invitational 5K two weeks ago.

The Tribe, ranked No. 23 in the latest polls, races next weekend at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational on Friday, Oct. 16.
