Saw action in eight games, making one start during his rookie season for the Green and Gold … Made his collegiate debut as a pinch hitter against UMass Lowell (3/8) … Made his first career start in a victory over Old Dominion (4/14).

Played five years of varsity baseball at the Steward School in Richmond, Virginia … Earned all-conference honors as a freshman … In 2013 was named an Underclassman Honorable Mention by Perfect Game … Tabbed as a Atlantic Region Honorable Mention team member by Perfect Game as a senior … Helped lead the Spartans to the state title in 2014 … Led the team in stolen bases, and on-base percentage as senior … Played his club ball for the Evoshield Canes and the Virginia Cardinals … Joined the school swim team as a senior … Was the class historian and a member of the National Honor Society.

Son of Shawn and Maryann McLane  … Father, Shawn, was a four-time All-American diver at the College and is member of the William and Mary Hall of Fame who still holds all of the Tribe records … His sister, Kalynn, also went to the college … Grandfather, Earl McLane, was a long-time professor and diving coach at W&M ...
