SOPHOMORE YEAR / 2015Made 14 appearances with two starts on the bump for the Tribe in his sophomore season … Finished the year, with a 5.81 ERA, tossing 26.1 innings … Allowed 23 runs (17 earned), while striking out 12 … Posted an 0-1 record on the mound … Made his season debut in relief at Ole Miss (2/14) … Had his first start of the season at Campbell (3/4) … Tossed a scoreless inning of relief and struck out a batter against UMass Lowell (3/8) … Allowed an unearned run over 1.2 innings at Kennesaw State (3/21) … Tossed 0.2 inning scoreless at Towson (4/3) … Struck out the side in appearance at Longwood (4/8) … Pitched 3.1 innings allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits, while striking out three against Old Dominion (4/14) … Fanned two and worked around two hits in a scoreless relief appearance at VMI (4/21) … Tossed three innings of relief at Delaware (4/24) with a strikeout, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits … Made the start at George Washington (5/14), going a season-long 5.1 innings allowing one run on five hits.

Son of Michael and Susan Powers… Undecided major at the College… Uncle, Matt, played hockey at Boston, while his cousin, Brendan, played hockey at Stone Hill College… His brother, Pat, was a 2010 graduate of William and Mary… Enjoys hanging out with friends and golfing during his free time.
