Mitchell Campbell

Campbell is well-grounded and has a very analytical approach to gymnastics that combines quite nicely with his solid work ethic … These characteristics will ensure that he has a steep learning curve both in and out of the gym throughout his years at William and Mary … While Campbell develops in the all-around, he will initially push for a starting position on his best event, the high bar, and could also see some action on the parallel bars … Campbell is unassuming both in and out of the gym and anticipates majoring in mathematics … All in all, he fits in quite well with the Tribe gymnasts who are the defending national academic team champions for men’s gymnastics … He was coached by  Eric Marburger and Reed Crowe at Crenshaw’s Athletic Club and is the son of Oliver and Midori Campbell.
