This is going to be Adam’s breakout year as the incredible amount of patience and dedication he has shown in recovering from various injuries has positioned him to make his mark on our floor exercise, vaulting, parallel bars, and high bar squads after missing all of last season…Having earned two William and Mary Provost Awards for his academic excellence, Adam is well on his way to joining the ranks of the Tribe’s many gymnasts (31 since 1975) who have gone on to medical school after graduation…In the gym Adam is having a very positive impact on his teammates as his passion for gymnastics is inspiring as well as contagious…Adam is a kinesiology and health sciences major and was coached by Ron Brant at the Olympic Training Center ... Adam’s parents are Dan and Claire Avant.
