This will be the year that Keaton blossoms in the all-around as all of his events are quickly catching up in excellence to his pommel horse where he currently ranks third in our all-time records…Keaton is not only a USA Gymnastics Collegiate All-American in both the all-around and on pommel horse but also a College Gymnastics Association first team All-American Scholar-Athlete as well as a two-time William and Mary Provost Award recipient for his outstanding academic accomplishments while pursuing a major in business with a concentration in accounting … Keaton finished last season as the number three team point scorer on the Tribe team that finished 12th in the nation at the NCAA Championships. In the process, he earned ECAC Gymnast of the Week honors and moved into fifth in the all-around and eighth on vaulting in our all-time record books…Keaton brings a very special perspective on life to William and Mary and our gym as a result of the uniqueness of the Jencik family which includes 14 brothers and sisters many of whom have been adopted and have special needs ... In the gym, Keaton is the consummate teammate and out of the gym, he is the best friend that you could ever wish to have…Ivo Grahovski and Gary Schnitzler coached Keaton at the Rochester Gymnastics Academy…Keaton’s parents are Kurt and Shelley Ackerman and Barry and Brittany Jencik.
