Rams finish fifth at OUA championship
KINGSTON, Ont. - The Ryerson Rams figure skating team finished fifth at the 2019 OUA championship hosted by the Queen's Gaels.
The Rams picked up four medals, including a gold medal performance from Kaitlyn Wilson in the Star 10 Freeskate. Chris Berneck earned his third consecutive silver medal in the men's freeskate, while Berneck, Rebecca Bourgeois, Briar Koski, and Bella Larkin earned silver in the Dance Fours event. The synchro team concluded the event with a bronze medal performance.
Ryerson picked up 34 total points during the competition to finish in fifth place overall, an improvement from their seventh place finish in 2018.
