Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers men’s basketball program has announced upcoming dates for its annual summer camps, to be held in June on campus in Halton Arena and the Hayward Practice Facility.
Under the direction of Charlotte 49ers head coach Mark Price, who was a former four-time NBA All-Star and two-team NBA three-point shooting contest champion, and the Charlotte 49ers coaching staff, the camps get underway with the Mark Price Individual Basketball Camp - June 20-23 in Halton Arena. The cost is $350 (with a $100 no-refundable deposit) for the four-day camp. Players, ages 7-18, will work on basketball fundaments such dribbling, passing, shooting and defending during the camp.
The Team Camp runs June 24th and 25th in Charlotte's Dale F. Halton Arena and the Charles Hayward Practice Facility. The event is open to any and all high school junior varsity and varsity teams. The Charlotte 49ers team camp guarantees each varsity team - four games and junior varsity teams – three games. Each team will receive 12 T-shirts. Space is limited and payment in full (1 team for 1 day - $300; 1 team for 2 days or 2 teams for one day - $550 or 2 teams for 2 days - $1050) is due by June 13th.
The Elite Camp is Sunday, June 26 from 1 - 4 pm.
All Charlotte 49ers camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants and are only limited by the age, gender or grade level.
