LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI wrestling team will travel to Philadelphia Sunday to take part in the 24th annual Keystone Classic, hosted by Penn University. The competition at the Palestra will begin at 10 a.m.

Other teams include: Penn, Appalachian State, Drexel, Duke, F&M, Harvard, Rider, Sacred Heart and Virginia.
Freshman 125-pounder John McGarry scored pins in both of his matches Saturday as VMI split a tri-match with visiting Franklin & Marshall and Davidson Colleges in the Keydets 2019-20 home opener. F&M led off the day with a 19-17 win over VMI, but the Keydets finished the afternoon with a 28-15 Southern Conference victory over Davidson.
Red-shirt senior Neal Richards, freshman Job Chishko and senior Max Gallahan also won both of their matches.
Richards finished third in last season’s Keystone Classic, winning four matches.
