Dr. Elliot Sussin enters his fifth season beside Head Coach Tim Smith on the Marist men's tennis staff.
Sussin has been living in the Hudson Valley for 53 years and has been involved in tennis for 36 of them. The Syracuse University graduate is a practicing Chiropractor.
His practice, which is located in both Rhinebeck and Poughkeepsie, specializes in sports chiropractic injuries and has been a fixture in the area since 1980.
A USTA member, Sussin has been a 4.5 and 4.0 player for the past 20 years. He also has been teaching tennis at Kutcher's Sport's Academy since 1975. It is also rumored that he regularly beats Coach Smith when they play.
Dr. Sussin is the proud father of three daughters and one son. Jennifer graduated from Marist in 2009, and his son Scott plays tennis for John Jay High School.
