Keegan Wilkinson was named head coach of the Marist men's lacrosse team on June 28, 2011.

In his first season at the helm, Wilkinson guided the Red Foxes to a 6-8 overall record and 3-3 in the MAAC, finishing in a four-way tie for second place. Marist qualified for its third straight MAAC Tournament as the fourth seed based on tiebreakers.

Before becoming the head coach, Wilkinson had spent the past four seasons as the program's top assistant, helping guide the Red Foxes to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Lacrosse League Tournament each of the last two years. During Wilkinson's tenure as an assistant coach, the Red Foxes improved their MAAC record each season. In that time, Marist has posted a record of 16-14 in league play. The Red Foxes have also had 13 First or Second Team All-MAAC selections, 40 MAAC All-Academic Team selections and one MAAC Rookie of the Year in his time. In 2011, Marist had three First Team All-MAAC selections, its highest total in seven years.

Wilkinson is a 2006 graduate of Saint Joseph's University, where he was a four-year starter at attack and a two-year captain. A two-time all-conference selection, he was named the Hawks' Offensive Player of the Year in 2005 and 2006, and was named the team's Most Valuable Player in 2006. He led Saint Joseph's in assists and points three times in his career, and finished his collegiate career with 54 goals and 83 assists. He is ranked second on the school's all-time assists list, and seventh in career points (137). Wilkinson holds Saint Joseph's single-game assist record, having recorded seven in a contest against Delaware.

Wilkinson attended DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Md., where he was a four-time WCAC champion in lacrosse.

A native of Columbia, Md., Wilkinson currently resides in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
