Nick Vertucci joins the Red Foxes men's soccer staff for his first full season in 2010. He is a welcomed addition to the Marist coaching staff as he has a wealth of goalkeeper coach experience on the collegiate level and overseas.

Vertucci comes to the Hudson River Valley from Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference member Manhattan, where he spent the 2008 and 2009 seasons as an assistant coach. He also worked on a scholastic level as the assistant and goalkeepers coach at King and Low Heywood Thomas School in Stamford, Conn.

In addition he serves as the director of The Goalkeeping Coach, LLC alongside Simon Smith, the England U20 National Team Goalkeeping Coach. In this role, he has hosted goalkeeping clinics for players in the United States and the United Kingdom.

As a player, Vertucci competed for Albertus Mangus High School in Rockland County and was named an All-County keeper. Collegiately, he played for both Villanova of the BIG EAST and Iona.

Vertucci, who holds NSCAA Goalkeeping Institute National Goalkeeping and USSF Licenses, graduated from Iona College with a degree in political science.
