"A fundamental part of a team's success depends on a supportive foundation. The Spider Club had a direct impact on our team's success this year and previous years. Their contributions enable student-athletes to receive the necessary equipment, practice facilities, and chartered flights to compete with the best in the country. Thanks to the Spider Club donations, our 2009-2010 University of Richmond men's basketball team was able to win the South Padre Invitational, earn second place at our conference tourney, and compete in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
