Chuck D'Arcy joined the dugout as the pitching coach in 2011. A few of his accolades include:

• First and only person to win a World Championship in both the Men's and Women's World Championships, one as a player in 1980 and as a coach in 2006, as well as winning a United States National Championship in men's (1991) and women's (2010).
• 1997 Unanimous selection into the ASA National Softball Hall of Fame
• 1997 Prosecutor of the Year for Sacramento County by Mothers Against Drunk Drivers
• Posted a perfect 6-0 record in international competition as a pitcher
• Participated in 21 ASA Men's Major National Championships
• Participated in 8 Olympic Festivals
• 1986 Outstanding Professor of the Year at Lincoln Law School
• 1981 World Games Gold medalist for Team USA
• Captain of the 1983 Pan-American Games for the U.S. team
• Member of the U.S. team for the 1980 World Tournament
• Played and managed for the ASA National Champion Guanella Brothers, a men's fastpitch squad out of Santa Rosa, CA.
• A six-time All-American as a player (four ASA, one ISC Worlds, one Masters)
• Compiled a record of 1092-250 for a winning percentage of .813
• In 8,973 innings of work, he fanned 10,689 batters, hurled 527 shutouts, with 62 no-hitters and 15 perfect games.
• His ERA as a player over his 30 year career was 0.85
• Coached youth teams and all-star youth in both baseball and softball from 1993 until 1998
• Founded and coached the Sacramento Rush, an 18-under girl's fastpitch Gold team
• Selected by the Sacramento Bee as accomplishing one of the Ten Greatest High School Sports Achievements of the 20th Century with basketball

His coaching history includes nearly every level of the international and national scene for both Men and Women's USA Softball Teams. A portion of his coaching history includes:
• Assistant Coach of USA National Team that won a silver medal at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China; Oversaw pitching staff
• Assistant Coach for the 2007 Canada Cup, World Cup and Pan American Gold Medal teams
• Named as an Assistant Coach for the USA Softball Women's National Team
• Led the U.S. to its first World Cup title in Oklahoma City
• Helped to guide the USA team to its sixth consecutive gold medal at the ISF Women's World Championships
• Led the U.S. to the Japan Cup gold medal
• Named Assistant Coach for the USA Softball Women's National Team
• Assistant Coach for the USA Softball Junior Women's National Team that won silver at the ISF Junior Women's World Championship in Nanjing, China
• Assistant Coach for the USA Softball Junior Women's National Team that won gold at the Pan American Championship in Hermosillo, Mexico

D'Arcy served as a prosecutor for 28 years with the Sacramento County District Attorney's office. In 2004, he was appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger as Chief Assistant Inspector General to the State of California. In 2005, he handled the litigation in defense of the state and governor's office for the prison system.
