The Course at Wente Vineyards, Livermore, Calif.

This championship course cuts through the hills and rolling terrain of the scenic Livermore Valley adjacent to the beautiful Wente Vineyards. Built in 1998 and designed by Greg Norman, Wente hosts the Nationwide Tour's Wine Country Championship in late March. This is an outstanding test of golf and puts a premium on shot making.

Diablo Country Club, Diablo, Calif.

This Jack Neville design was built in 1914 and is one of the oldest and most prestigious facilities in the East Bay foothills located in the city of Danville. The course is a favorite of the players and is a sound test of golf with small greens and large, stately oak trees.

Lake Merced Country Club, Daly City, Calif.
Originally designed by Willie Locke in 1922, it was redesigned by Dr. Alister MacKenzie in 1929. The course went through a major renovation in 1996 under the guidance of Rees Jones, known for his restoration of legendary championship venues. Lake Merced Golf & Country Club is located in South San Francisco and is renowned as one of the best courses in California. Lake Merced has hosted US Open Sectional qualifying every year, alternating the men's and women's each year, as well as the US Junior Amateur Championship in 1990.

The Meadow Club, Fairfax, Calif.
A Dr. Alister MacKenzie design established in 1927. This course is located in the North Bay's Marin County. The course sits high above the town of Fairfax, near the Pacific Ocean. This is the home of Men's Golf annual Alister MacKenzie Invitational played in the fall and where the Golden Bears will host the 2008 Men's Pac-10 Championship. The Club has hosted 17 satellite fundraising events for Men's Golf beginning in1989. Meadow Club has hosted the 2001 US Open qualifying, the 1997 NorCal PGA Section Championship and the 1990 NCGA Junior Championship.

Metropolitan Golf Links, Oakland, Calif.

Metropolitan Golf Links provides both an 18 hole upscale public golf course and comprehensive grass practice areas. Metropolitan is the main practice facility for the Men's and Women's teams and is located in Oakland, next to the Oakland International Airport. Metropolitan boasts the largest public grass driving range in the Bay Area, with a 10,000 square foot putting green, and an 8,000 square foot chipping green. Opening in fall 2007 the Cal Golf Short Game Practice Facility exclusive to the Cal Men's and Women's teams, built to USGA specifications, the facility will feature a 140-yard hitting area and two oversized greens and will allow each team to concentrate on all components of the short game. The course is a Johnny Miller design, with a unique links style look and feel. The maintenance standards are that of a country club with fun, quick greens and excellent drainage.

Mira Vista Country Club, El Cerrito, Calif.
This is another historic country club built in the early 20's in the El Cerrito Hills overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge and downtown San Francisco. It boasts some of the most challenging greens the players putt on all year and clearly gives the team an edge come tournament time. Mira Vista has hosted the following events: 2007 NCGA State Senior Amateur qualifier, 2006 USGA Senior Amateur qualifier, 2006 NCGA/CIF High School Championship, 2005 USGA Mid Amateur Championship qualifier, 2005 US Girls Junior Championship qualifier, 2004 US Amateur qualifier, 2004 USGA Senior Women's Amateur qualifier, 2003 NCGA/CIF High School Championship.

Oakhurst Country Club, Clayton, Calif.

This is one of the most demanding of all the golf courses the Men's team plays in its rotation. Oakhurst C.C. is a modern design built in 1990 and sits in the East Bay foothills in the city of Clayton, just east of Walnut Creek. Renowned for its challenging greens, excellent drainage and with views of Mt. Diablo on every hole this course has been recognized as one of the best and most difficult courses in the East Bay

Orinda Country Club, Orinda, Calif.

Founded in 1924 this Willie Watson design is nestled in the hills of Orinda just east of the Berkeley campus. Orinda C.C. continues to be the home of Cal Golf Fundraiser in September each year, this years event will be the 28th. Orinda has hosted the 1988 and 1998 Men's Pac-10 Championship as well as numerous Northern California Golf Association events. Orinda's linkage with Cal Golf runs deep with significant historic ties. The Club was the focal point for the funding of the Cal Golf Committee in the early 80's. The fund raising success of that Committee was the key factor in Men's Golf being reinstated to the Athletic Department as an NCAA sport in 1982.

Ruby Hill Golf Course, Pleasanton, Calif.
This modern Jack Nicklaus design is located in the Pleasanton/Livermore foothills. Established in 1996, the course plays to just under 7,500 yards from the Nicklaus tees and truly is one of the best tests of golf in the entire Bay Area. Ruby Hill has hosted US Open qualifying, the 2007 Nationwide Tour qualifying for the Livermore Wine Country Championship, the 2005 Women's Pac-10 Championship, and the 2006 NCGA Senior Championship.

San Francisco Golf Club, San Francisco, Calif.
Cal Golf is privileged to be able to play the very exclusive and historic San Francisco Golf Club. Established is 1895 this A.W. Tillinghast design is world class and is always ranked in the top 15 best classic courses in the United States by Golf Digest and Golf World magazines.

Sequoyah Country Club, Oakland, Calif.

Established in 1913 this beautiful but tough layout located in the Oakland Hills is always a favorite amongst the players. Short by modern standards the course requires excellent ball striking and a deft putting touch. This course was one of the premier West Coast stops of the PGA Tour in the 30's and 40's with Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, and Byron Nelson playing every year in the Oakland Open.
