Tracksters Seek Qualifying Marks at Liberty Meet

LEXINGTON, Va. – Hoping to qualify a few more individuals for the IC4A/ECAC Championships slated for May 11-12, the VMI track and field teams will send several Keydets to compete at the Liberty Twilight Qualifier set for Wednesday at Liberty University in Lynchburg.

Competition begins at 11:30 a.m. with the discus throw and end at approximately 9 p.m. following the 5,000-meter run.

The following individuals will compete for VMI looking to earn the qualifying IC4A/ECAC mark in their respective events:

Men’s Track and Field

Daniel Usher – discus

Jordin Poindexter – 100m, 200m

Blaine Ashton – 200m

Caleb Minus – 200m

Bret Trahan – 200m

Jonathan Gray – 200m, 400m

Johnnie Walker – 400m

Rafael Mas – 400m hurdles
