Cougars Drop Two on First Day of CofC Beach Invitational

MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – The College of Charleston beach volleyball team dropped two matches on the opening day of the CofC Beach Invitational at Creekside Tennis and Swin Club.

The Cougars (3-4) fell 5-0 to top-ranked Pepperdine, 6-0, in the team’s first match of the day. Mercer edged CofC, 3-2, later in the day.

Action continues tomorrow with six matches. The Cougars play Lincoln Memorial at 9:30 a.m. before taking on UNCW at 1:30 p.m. For a full tournament schedule, visit CofCSport.com.
