Andrew Kowalo came to VMI in the spring of 2019 after working as the assistant coach at Potomac State College of West Virginia University in Keyser, West Virginia. He was the offensive and defensive coordinator for the program in the fall of 2018.
He served as the head baseball and softball instructor at the GSP Hall of Fame Training Center in St. Clairsville, Ohio from December 2017-May 2018. A 2018 graduate of Liberty University with a bachelor of science degree in sport management, Kowalo was a two-year infield starter for the Flames. He stayed on as a student assistant coach at LU for the fall of 2017.
