COL Tom Timmes, VMI Class of 1992, joined the VMI swimming and diving staff in October of 2017. Timmes, a former VMI diver, serves as the program's volunteer diving coach. The Keydet divers took great strides in the 2018-19 season, as VMI earned two America East Diver of the Week Awards and had one second-team all-state diver.
