High School: Jefferson, coached by Bill Navas...Named an Athens Banner Herald second-team All-Northeast Georgia selection and played in the GACA All-Star Game as a senior...The Atlanta Journal Constitution All-State Honorable Mention and Best in Georgia...Named to All-Region, All-State, All-Northeast Georgia and All-Gainesville Area teams and preseason Super 11 throughout his career...Ranked in the Georgia Top Top 50 Offensive preseason Georgia Top 75, postseason Georgia Top 50...Four-year letterwinner, two-year starter...Played tight end and on the defensive line his senior year...Was also the team’s long snapper all four years...Three-year letterwinner in baseball and basketball and was offered scholarships in both of those sports as well.
