2008-2009 (Sophomore Season)
• Came in second in the 200 butterfly at the NCAAs.
• Finished ninth with the 800 freestyle relay, ninth with the 400 medley relay and 16th with the 200 medley relay.
• Named First-Team All-SEC after winning the 200 butterfly  and lowering his conference meet record to 1:41.61.
• Finished sixth in the 100 butterfly and swam the butterfly leg on the second-place 400 medley relay team and the fourth-place 200 medley relay team, which set a school record, at the SECs.
• Owns the school record in the 200 butterfly and was part of the record-setting 400 freestyle, 200 medley and 400 medley relay teams.
• Ranks second in the Georgia record books in the 100 butterfly and the 200 individual medley.
• Named SEC Male Swimmer of the Week following the UGA Fall Invitational.
• Named a CSCAA Scholar All-American.
• Named to the Fall Semester Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and to the Dean’s List.
• Named to the SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll.
2007-2008 (Freshman Season)
• Finished second in the 200 butterfly and 13th in the 100 butterfly at the NCAAs.
• Was a member of the 800 freestyle relay that finished ninth and the 200 medley relay that finished 15th at the NCAAs.
• Named the SEC Male Freshman of the Year and was chosen First-Team All-SEC.
• Won the 200 butterfly in 1:42.23 at the SEC Championship, eclipsing the league mark of 1:42.39 set in 2006 by Florida’s Ryan Lochte.
• Finished sixth in the 100 butterfly at the SECs.
• Swam on the 400 medley relay that was fourth, the 400 and 800 freestyle relays that were fifth, and the 200 freestyle and 200 medley relays that were sixth at the SECs
• Named the SEC Male Freshman of the Week after helping Georgia win the UGA Fall Invitational.
• Named to the Fall Semester AD’s Honor Roll.
• Chosen as a CSCAA Academic All-American, helping Georgia earn the CSCAA Academic All-American Team Award.
High School
• Graduated from Heritage High School.
• Was the 2007 Colorado High School Swimmer of the Year.
• Was the captain of the 2006 National Junior Team.
• Won the 100 butterfly in 2005 and the 400 IM in 2006 at the U.S. National Junior Championships.
• Was the 2004-05 NISCA national champion in the 100 butterfly and the 2005-06 NISCA national champ in the 500 freestyle.
• Garnered 24 NISCA All-America honors.
• Was an eight-time Colorado prep state champion, going undefeated in every event of his high school career.
• Set the Colorado prep records in the 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke and 500 freestyle.
• Established 41 Colorado individual records.
• Qualified for the Olympic Trials in four events.
• Named the Rocky Mountain News’ Top Male Amateur Athlete for 2005-06.
• Swam under Eric Craven with the Aces Swim Club.
• Was a four-time MVP for Heritage.
