KALAMAZOO, Mich.- ESPN Events has revealed the bracket for the Gildan Charleston Classic, to be played Nov. 17, 18 & 20 at TD Arena in Charleston, S.C.

The bracket-format tournament features 12 games over three days. The teams compete once per day, advancing with a victory. The two teams that remain undefeated will face off in the championship game on Sunday, Nov. 20. All games will be broadcast on either ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPN3.

Teams participating in the tournament include 2016 NCAA National Champion Villanova, as well as Boise State, Charleston, Mississippi State, UCF, UTEP, Wake Forest and Western Michigan.

The Broncos will face the defending national champs in the opening game of the classic, taking on Villanova at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 11:30 a.m. on ESPN2. WMU is slated to face either Wake Forest or UTEP on Friday (1:30 p.m./3:30p.m.).

“We are really proud and honored to be part of another ESPN event,” said WMU head coach Steve Hawkins. “This is our second time going to the Charleston Classic and it is another incredible field. This will give us an opportunity to see how we stack up early in the season against some of top teams in the country on a neutral court.”

Western Michigan is the only Division I program to participate in all five of the ESPN owned college basketball tournaments, traveling to Anaheim, Charleston, Orlando, Puerto Rico and Hawaii under Coach Hawkins. WMU made its first appearance at the Charleston Classic in 2008, playing TCU, Hofstra and SIU-Edwardsville.
