For Blue Devil fans, the excitement of Duke field hockey can be found at the newly-renovated Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium on East Campus.

Completed in 1996 and renovated in 2011, the turf field was primarily built for the Duke field hockey program. Thanks in large part to the contributions of Morris and Ruth Williams, the Duke facility features one of the best watering systems in the country, a state of the art sound system and a new scoreboard. The generosity of Jack Katz made possible the expansion of the stadium's brand new bleachers, the new press box and the brick entranceway.

The site of the 2008 ACC Field Hockey Championship, Jack Katz Stadium is surrounded by Duke's East Campus, providing head coach Pam Bustin and the Blue Devils with a private practice facility. In addition, the lighted facility gives Duke the ability to host night games. The field was also the site of the 2002 conference tournament.

Directions to Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium

Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium is located on Duke's East Campus. The field is across from Well Springs market on Broad Street, between Markum Avenue and Main Street

From Greensboro and Points West Via 1-85 North:
Exit onto N.C. 147 (Durham Freeway). Continue on Durham Freeway to Swift Ave. exit (#14). Turn left onto Swift Ave. to W. Main St. Turn right on W. Main St. and go to Campus Dr., which is the main entrance to East campus. Turn left into campus.

From Richmond and Points North Via I-85 South:
In Durham, take the left-lane exit (#174B) for U.S. 15-501 S.Bypass - Duke University/Chapel Hill. Continue on U.S. 15-501 to N.C. 147 (Durham Freeway) exit. Take Durham Freeway S. to Swift Ave. exit (#14). Turn left onto Swift Ave. to W. Main St. Turn right onto W. Main St. and go to Campus Dr., which is the main entrance to East campus. Turn left into East campus.

From RDU Airport, Raleigh and Points East Via I-40 West:
Exit onto the Durham Freeway (N.C. 147). Take Durham Freeway to Swift Ave. exit (#14), Turn right onto Swift Ave. to W. Main St. . Turn right onto W. Main St. and go to Campus Dr., which is the main entrance to East campus. Turn left into East campus.

From Chapel Hill Via US. 15-501 North:
Take 15-501 N., marked to Duke univ./Med Ctr. Do not take 15-501 Business. Continue on US 15-501 to N.C. 147 (Durham Freeway) exit (#108B). Take Durham Freeway S. to Swift Ave. exit (#14), marked East Campus. Take exit and turn left onto Swift Ave. to W. Main St. Turn right onto W. Main St. and go to Campus Dr., which is the main entrance to East campus. Turn left into East campus.
