Field Hockey's James Albanese Named to the U.S. Men's National Indoor Team

WORCESTER, Mass. – Assistant Holy Cross field hockey coach James Albanese has been named to the 2019-20 U.S. Men’s National Indoor Field Hockey Team, as announced by USA Field Hockey last week.

The squad consists of 16 men from across the nation and will have upcoming training camps in August and December to prepare for an international tour at the end of the year. The team will also be competing at the Indoor Pan American Cup to be held in Pennsylvania in March of 2020.

Albanese is entering his second season in 2019 as an assistant on head coach Lindsay Jackson’s staff. He is a 2018 graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst where he was an undergraduate assistant on the field hockey team for three years.

Holy Cross’ season begins on Friday, Aug. 30 at home against Northeastern.
