NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion women's rowing team kicks off the spring portion of its schedule on Saint Patrick's Day this Saturday hosting North Carolina and Delaware on the Lafayette River.

Taking place on the Lafayette River, just minutes from campus, fans can watch the race from Mayflower Road in the Colonial Place section of Norfolk or the Granby Street Bridge.

7:30 a.m. - V8 - ODU vs. UNC
7:45 a.m. - 2V8 - ODU vs. UNC
8:00 a.m. - V4 - ODU vs. UNC
8:15 a.m. - N8 - ODU vs. UNC

9:15 a.m. - V8 - ODU vs. UD
9:30 a.m. - 2V8 - ODU vs. UD
9:45 a.m. - V4 - ODU vs. UD
10:00 a.m. - N8 - ODU vs. UD

10:45 a.m. - V8 - UD vs. UNC
11:00 a.m. - 2V8 - UD vs. UNC
11:15 a.m. - V4 - UD vs. UNC
11:30 a.m. - N8 - UD vs. UNC

Saturday's races kicks off a busy spring season for the Lady Monarchs, who enter their fourth year of competition. Next weekend, Old Dominion will take on Virginia before a busy race schedule in April.

In April, the Lady Monarchs will take part in the Occoquan Sprints on April 1st, the Knecht Cups the weekend of April 14th, as well as vie for a Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) title on April 29th.

The 2011-2012 season will close at the prestigious Dad Vail Regatta the weekend of May 11th.
