30-win plateau
Since Head Coach Lisa Costello's arrival on campus in 1996, people have come to associate the number "30" with Towson softball.
The Tigers had never had a 30+ win season prior to 1999. Since winning 33 games in the 1999 season, the Tigers have recorded 11 seasons with 30 or more victories.
The school record for victories in a single season belongs to the 2005 squad which finished with a mark of 38-19.
In 2002, Brooke Clyde was named the CAA Player of the Year while Jessica Wides earned CAA Pitcher of the Year honors in 2003. Additionally, current head coach, Lisa Costello, was named CAA Coach of the Year in 2005.
Towson has advanced to the CAA Tournament seven times and finished as the CAA Runner-up in four of those appearances.
Jeanne Bosch, Brooke Clyde, Katie Mumbauer, Nina Navarro and Jessica Wides were all honored for their play during their Tiger careers. Included in that group is Towson's first-ever CAA Softball Player of the Year in Clyde (2002) and CAA Softball Pitcher of the Year in Jessica Wides (2003).
Not only does Weaver hold Towson's single-season record for batting average, she also led the nation in batting average during the 1996 campaign.
Jen Weaver and Kerrin Mohr were both three-time selections to the Academic All-America team.

Superior in the Circle
The 2012 season saw junior pitcher Katie Lingmai record a historical year for the Tigers. On her way to becoming the school’s all-time strikeout leader with 524 in her career, Lingmai also became the only pitcher in school history with more than 200 in a single season. Her 203 strikeouts were second most in the Colonial Athletic Association and she is tied for the Towson school record for most career shutouts (15).Honored in the CAA
While in the CAA, the Tigers have had 23 players earn All-CAA honors. The Tigers have also had five players earn CAA All-Rookie team honors.In 2002, Brooke Clyde was named the CAA Player of the Year while Jessica Wides earned CAA Pitcher of the Year honors in 2003. Leading the nation
In 1996, Jen Weaver went 56-for-109 at the plate, finishing with an impressive .514 batting average for the season.Not only does Weaver hold Towson's single-season record for batting average, she also led the nation in batting average during the 1996 campaign.
Academic Success
Since 1985, seven Tigers have earned either Academic All-District or Academic All-America honors from the College Sports Information Directors of America.Jen Weaver and Kerrin Mohr were both three-time selections to the Academic All-America team.
