Meet the staff
Head Coach
- 31st season as Towson's head coach in 2012, guiding the Tigers through four different conferences during his tenure (ECC, Big South, America East, CAA)
- Led the Tigers to a pair NCAA College Cup appearances - beating James Madison in their inaugural 2001 appearance and beating Fairfield in 2006 to adavance to the "Sweet Sixteen"
- Under Olszewski's watch, Towson has played for nine conference championships, winning four titles
- Has coached five players who have received All-America honors, including current assistant coach, Billy Chiles
- With 276 career wins at the start of 2011, ranks 15th in NCAA Division I among active head coaches and 44th overall
- Very active within both NCAA and Olympic soccer, serving as a regional chairman for the NCAA Championship tournament and member of the regional selection committee, while also being selected in 2008 as a scout for the U.S. Soccer National Team.
- Has worked for years with the Maryland Olympic Developmental staff and Eastern Regional Olympic staff
Assistant Coach
- Starting his seventh season as a Towson assistant coach in 2012
- More than 20 years of coaching experience at the club, high school and college levels, making stops at Prince George's Community College, Bishop McNamara H.S. (Forestville, Md.), select club teams in Fort Washington, Md. and the Maryland State District Development team
- Played collegiately at Prince George's Community College and UMBC, earning All-America honors for the Retrievers in his senior season
- Served for over 20 years in the Prince George's County Police Department
Assistant Coach
- In his fourth season as a Towson assistant coach in 2012
- One of the Tigers' top goalkeepers of all time, earning second team All-America honors and first team All-CAA honors in his senior season while playing for head coach Frank Olszewski
- As a junior, ranked second in NCAA Division I with a 0.33 goals against average and a .935 save percentage, helping the Tigers reach the third round of the NCAA Tournament
- Towson's all-time leader in goals against average with a 0.77 mark
- Was a member of the United States U-23 National Team Pool and played for Crystal Palace USA in 2009
