Meet the staff
Head Coach
  • Second season as Tigers' head coach, ninth season at Towson in 2013
  • Led the Tigers to the 2013 CAA title, a berth in the NCAA Tournament and their first 10-win season since 2005
  • Has coached a total of 42 All-CAA honorees since arriving at Towson prior to 2005 season
  • Coaching alongside Bill Tierney at Princeton, helped Tigers win 2001 NCAA National Championship, reach 2002 National Championship game, and make 2003 NCAA Tournament appearance
  • Playing for Team USA, won the gold medal at the 2010 Federation of International Lacrosse World Championships
  • Played for 10 seasons in the National Lacrosse League (Philadelphia, New Jersey, Minnesota) and 11 seasons in Major League Lacrosse, earning three MLL championships with the Chesapeake Bayhawks
  • All-American, captain and four-year starter at Johns Hopkins (1998-01)
Assistant Coach/Offensive Coordinator
  • Second season on Towson Men's Lacrosse staff in 2013
  • Coached attackman Thomas DeNapoli to USILA All-America honorable mention notice in 2013
  • Spent three seasons as the offensive coordinator at Navy (2009-11), three seasons as an assistant coach at Ohio State (2006-08), and one season as an offensive assistant at Denison College (2005), helping his squads to multiple NCAA Tournament berths along the way
  • Played two professional seasons for the Long Island Lizards (MLL), helping them to the playoffs in 2005
  • Played collegiately at Ohio State, twice earning All-Great Western Lacrosse League honors, twice appearing in the NCAA Tournament, while finishing his career 13th on OSU's all-time scoring list and ninth on their all-time assist list
Assistant Coach/Defensive Coordinator
  • Second season on Towson's staff in 2013
  • Towson's 2013 defensive unit ranked as high as 14th in the nation in scoring defense
  • Currently a member of the New York Lizards (MLL), he played for four different franchises during his 10-year career, earning one MLL title (Baltimore, 2005) and appearing in one MLL All-Star Game (Los Angeles, 2006) and one MLL championship game (Denver, 2012)
  • Has previously coached at both the collegiate level (North Florida, Butler) and high school level (Matanzas H.S.)
  • 2003 graduate of Towson University, helping the Tigers to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances (2001, 2003) and a berth in the NCAA semifinals (2001)
  • Named 2003 CAA Defensive Player of the Year and ranks second in school history with 283 career ground balls
