Dupree Hart Named Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston second baseman Dupree Hart was named Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American, selected by Collegiate Baseball newspaper, on Wednesday.

Hart led the Cougars with a  .314 average, .443 on-base percentage and 10 stolen bases. He was second on the squad with 11 doubles. The Rock Hill, S.C., native scored 37 runs and drove in 33 runs. He was named to the Colonial Athletic Association All-Rookie team and was tabbed CAA Rookie of the week thrice.

Hart is the 12th CofC player to be selected as a Louisville Slugger All-American. Ryan Brown and Carter Love earned the honor last season.
