NCAA Tennis Watch Party Slated For Tuesday

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The 2016 Colonial Athletic Association champion College of Charleston men’s tennis team will host a NCAA Selection Show Watch Party on Tuesday, May 3 at Home Team BBQ located at 126 Williman Street in Downtown Charleston.

The event is free and open to the media and public beginning at 5:00 p.m. (ET). The field of 64 teams for the 2016 NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Championship will be announced via a live video stream on beginning at 5:30 p.m. (ET).

Under the direction of head coach Jay Bruner and assistant coach Oliver Reynolds, the Cougars earned the league’s automatic bid after knocking off top-seeded and No. 67-ranked UNCW, 4-3, in the championship match on April 24 in Elon, N.C. CofC’s previous NCAA Tournament appearances were in 2003 and 2012.

The NCAA Championship bracket will be posted on the NCAA websites ( and 30 minutes after the completion of the selection show.
