NORDIC SKI CLASSES 2012
ALL CLASSES meet in the back of Robinson Hall and take a bus to Oak Hill, Dartmouth's
NCAA-level groomed Nordic ski facility, with Beginner/Intermediate and Advanced trails! Once
there, you will be outfitted for gear and start your instruction on the perfectly flat stadium with our
courteous and professional instructors. Once ready, you will begin exploring the beautiful
network of trails in the woods of Oak Hill!
First time on skis or have very little experience? Been a few times, but want to improve your
skills? No problem, we will divide groups up by ability and experience and get you the level of
instruction that you need. Classic skiing skills are emphasized; skate skiing technique may also
be covered, depending on interest. Beginner Nordic Ski Classic classes are designed to
introduce the complete beginner to the joys of Nordic skiing. Learn how to walk, kick, glide, turn

Section 01 - Tuesday 1:00-4:30 pm - CRN# 11841 – 7 sessions
Section 02 – Tuesday 2:00-5:00 pm - CRN# 11842 – 7 sessions
Section 03 - Wednesday 2:00-5:00 pm - CRN# 11843 – 7 sessions
Section 04 - Thursday 1:00-4:30 pm – CRN# 11844 – 7 sessions
Section 05 - Thursday 2:00-5:00 pm – CRN# 11845 – 7 sessions
Section 06 - Friday 2:00-5:00 pm – CRN# 11846 – 7 sessions
Section 07 – Saturdays – 12:00-5:00 pm – CRN# 11847 – 4 sessions
All classes begin the week of January 10.
Cost: $175 - Includes lessons, season trail pass, equipment rental (skis, boots, poles)
You are eligible to receive PE credit for participating in Ski Patrol. You must register in banner
during the PE add/drop period in order to be eligible.
