2019: Came out of the bullpen 23 times and threw 26 innings … struck out 24 batters … earned a save 5/3 at Furman, 2.2 IP, 3 H, 1 ER … tossed a scoreless frame against ETSU on 4/5 … threw a scoreless inning vs. JMU on 3/27 with two strikeouts … worked 1 2/3 IP against #14 Clemson in the series opener, allowing just one baserunner.
2018: Was 2-2 with a 5.86 ERA...half of the 18 earned runs he allowed on the year, however, came in just two games...did not allow a run for nearly a month stretching April 14-May 12 (8 games, 8 IP), streak was broken May 13...was the winning pitcher in DH opener 4/14 vs. Western Carolina...took the loss in three-inning outing 4/8 at ETSU...took the loss vs. Radford 3/27 in extra innings...threw two scoreless frames during GW series...was the victor in season-opening win at South Carolina, pitching two scoreless innings.
2017: Finished his true freshman year with a 1-1 record, one save and a 6.23 ERA in 28 games...was the most appearances by a true freshman in school history and tied for the ninth-most overall...entered the conference tournament having been unscored on in his last five outings, his second streak of five or more scoreless outings of the year...also had a nine-game run 3/10 - 4/4...earned the first save of his career 5/16 vs. JMU...gave up two runs in relief 5/6 vs. UNCG to give up a lead in the ninth, but was taken off the hook when VMI rallied for a walkoff win...took his first career loss at VCU 4/18 when he surrendered four runs...earned his first career win 3/18 at Elon...pitched three shutout innings in the series against Quinnipiac (3/10-12)...pitched in three of the season's first five games, one of two Keydets to do so (Staats).
