William & Mary junior Faris Sakallah (Chantilly, Va.) was named the Colonial Athletic Assocation Runner of the Week on Tuesday, after turning in a team-leading performance Saturday at Princeton.  This is the second award of the season for Sakallah, who was also honored two weeks ago.

Sakallah was the Tribe's top runner at the Princeton Inter-Regional on Saturday, finishing 30th overall in 24:30.4.  It was a 45-second PR for the junior, who's previous best in an 8K was 25:15 last year at UVA.  This was also Sakallah's third race in as many tries at the head of the Tribe line-up, as he also was the first Green and Gold finisher at the home meet and teammed with Ryan Thompson (Bristow, Va.) to win the CNU XC Opener.

The Tribe is off this weekend, and will race again on Friday, Oct. 16, at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational.
