Kristine Gaswint was added to the Bucknell swimming and diving coaching staff in the summer of 2012 after spending the previous two years as an assistant at the University of Mount Union. A member of the 2012 Ohio Athletic Conference Women’s Coaching Staff of the Year, Gaswint saw Raiders capture 10 individual conference titles and set five conference records during her tenure. Additionally, one swimmer was a national qualifier. Outside of the pool, the women’s team ranked in the top 15 nationally in grade-point average.
Gaswint graduated from the College of Wooster in 2010 with a degree in mathematics and a minor in education. She was a four-year member of the swimming and diving team and was selected to the conference’s All-Academic Team. She also served as team captain as a senior.
In recent years, Gaswint has served as a counselor at the Texas A&M Aggie Swim Camp and spent time as a counselor and director at a Teen Leadership Camp at Fairmont State University.
