San Jose State head coach Mike MacIntyre played the role of Spartans' football commissioner as his players and coaches were divided into two teams for the 2012 Spring Game, Friday, April 13.
Co-captains Noel Grigsby, a wide receiver, and defensive end Travis Johnson will lead the White team coached by defensive coordinator Kent Baer. Tight end Ryan Otten and offensive tackle David Quessenberry, the Spartans other two captains for 2012 will be part of the Blue team coached by offensive coordinator Brian Lindgren. Quarterbacks David Fales, Blake Jurich and Dasmen Stewart will play for both teams. Click on the link for the team rosters as of April 12. There is no admission charge to watch this year's Spring Game. Free parking is available in Lot 1, located on the 7th Street side of Spartan Stadium. The West side mezzanine concession stand will be open and ready to serve food and refreshments. |
