Goodyear, Ariz. - The New Mexico State men's golf wrapped up play at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic Tuesday afternoon. The Aggies shot a thee-round score of 23-over par, 858. The Aggies finished 19th out of 23 teams at the 7,133 yard, par 70 Talking Stick-North Golf Club.

"Again Justin (Shin) played solid for us all tournament," head coach Mike Dirks said. "We are tying to find the answer right now. This is a good group of young men and I'm confident that we will bounce back. "

Junior Justin Shin led the Aggies with a three-round score of 4-under par, 206, tying him for ninth overall. In the final round, Shin shot a 1-under par, 69. Senior Gaston De La Torre was 4-over par, 74 in the final round. He tied for 43^rd overall at 2-over par, 212.

Freshman Brett Walker carded a thee-round score of 11-over par, 221 and tied for 92^nd overall, while red shirt senior Miko Alejandro was 15-over par, 225 and is tied for 111^th overall after three-rounds.

Newcomer Zach Adam shot a three-round score of 21-over par, 321 in his first collegiate competition, tying for 120^th.  

Kansas State won the team title at 14-under par, followed by Colorado (-12), San Diego (-11), Texas Tech (-7) and Kansas State (-6). Ben Juffer of Kansas State won the individual title after a playoff at 12-under par.

The Aggies will be back in action on April 14-15 at the 66^th Annual Western Intercollegiate.
