Good afternoon Female Mentoring Program Members, 

We are excited to announce the Inaugural NACMA/NACDA Female Mentoring Program Live Chat will take place Monday, April 9 at 1:00 P.M. ET.  The session will be led by Dot Sheehan (Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Relations at the University of New Hampshire) and will focus on:
  • Being a female in the sports industry
  • Why you have to know more than men
  • Being able to talk sports-advantages and respect
  • Watch the resentment factor when you know too much about sports
  • Faux pas made by women in sports
  • Assumption made by some when you work with young men in sports

The NACMA/NACDA FMP Live Chat event has been created to serve the nearly 150 FMP Members, we would like to encourage you to turn it into a "Brown Bag Lunch" type of session.  The NACMA Young Professionals Committee has hosted several live chats, which have proven to be a great platform for idea sharing, and many of our members take some great ideas away.
